Welcome Our New Pastor!

We are excited to share that Reyshawn Bobo has been called to serve as an elder and the new pastor of First Baptist Church of Dacula! He and his family will be joining us in March.

Reyshawn trusted Christ in 2007, served as a ministry leader to college students, and began to serve in church leadership in 2014. He married his lovely wife, Michele, in 2015, and is father to Titus, Malachi, and Elijah. He is a graduate of Montana State University (BA) and California Baptist University (MPA).

Reyshawn is currently pursuing his MDiv at The Master’s Seminary while continuing to serve.

Most of all, Reyshawn sees himself as a sinner saved by the grace of God in Christ, seeking to proclaim God's amazing grace to all who will listen.

Mark Chandler

Mark Chandler was ordained in the Gospel Ministry in 1975 in Greenville, Ohio. He has been the Pastor and Lead Elder for over 37 years. Mark married his high school sweetheart, Patti, and they have celebrated 59 years together.

Elder and Music Minister

Dave Mooney

Dave Mooney has been active in ministry for over 35 years and currently serves as an adult Sunday School teacher, Music Minister, Treasurer, and an Elder on the leadership team. He has been married to his best friend and wife, Amy, for the past 35 years.

Joel Willoughby

Joel Willoughby became an Elder in 2022 and has served in many different ministries within the church, leading youth, teaching, and preaching. Joel is happily married to his wife, Bonnie, and has three daughters.

Randy Nash

Randy Nash has been faithful in his role as Deacon for nearly 20 years. He has served as a Sunday School teacher, currently serves on our sound team, and co-manages our buildings and grounds team. Randy has been happily married to his wife, Wendy, for 28 years and is father to his son and daughter.

John Bendinsky

John Bendinsky has served faithfully as a Deacon for the past 5 years. He uses his professional skills in his ministry to the church and serves as co-manager of the church's buildings and grounds team. John has been married to his lovely wife, Brenda, for 32 years and is father to his daughter and son.

David Hernandez

David Hernandez started serving as a deacon in 2023. He has taught Sunday School for many years and uses his gift to serve the body. David is married to his best friend, Emilie, and is father to two beautiful daughters.
